    Talking Holy Mallee - salvaged the burl

    Found this ant eaten? Mallee burl at Brads a while ago - finally got around to attacking it this morning.
    Big holes filled with west system resin - finish is Shellawax - shellac on the natural edge.
    Love these little challenges!

    Nice work. I have a Goldfields burl from WA sitting on the shelf at home wating for me to make a start on but I haven't decided how to tackle it yet. It's amazing what can be achieved from a ugly looking piece of rough wood, well done.
