Default Just off the saw horse pt 1

Just wanted to show off the latest, I have been working on this since Easter, it is half finished the next stage is a hutch to sit on top. I decided on drawers to make it easy to get things out, I used a commercial system on rollers, the drawers will hold a dinner set and cutlery set and in the hutch for the top will go glasses. The whole unit is solid Victorian Ash painted antique white with a Sydney Blue Gum counter top and trim. Photo 007 shows the custom made cutlery tray to fit the top drawer.

There were a few challenges for me the first was poverty of time, then there were the raised panels for the false drawer fronts and finally learning how to spray paint.
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I´m not so sure about the universe.

Nicely done Phil. The timber trim on the bottom looks great too.

Nice piece. I like the clean lines and contrast between the paint and hardwood.

Beautiful work, Phil, thanks for showing it. I like the top and the drawer detail.

It is all far beyond me.
