Huon Pine box.
001.JPG002.JPGGroovers, A box I made for my oldest sons keepsakes. Half blind dovetails, Coopered lid(first time ever), Small trinket drawer inside and felt lined bottom and top. Finish is several coats of blonde shellac followed by the good wax and elbow grease. Damien.new2013 136.JPGnew2013 135.JPGnew2013 138.JPGnew2013 139.JPG

That's one good looking box. The knots in the Huon really give it life.
Nice work.... Steve

Thanks Steve. I used blonde dewaxed shellac for the first time and found it to be very easy to use and built up a nice finish quickly. Damien
