    Default Incredibly good woodworking

I found these on the net tonight. Don't know who did them or where they were on display, but have a look at the detail and workmanship. Shame I had to reduce the size so much to post.

One reply that came to mind is you would too if you were made out of wood. I think that this piece requires a lot of time to construct. I am no expert but it looks to me that the main of the lion would have been done one piece at a time.

I think it would have taken an enormous amount of skill to produce the lion. Not my cup of sauce, but I appreciate the workmanship.

you are probably right, i just think that if you are going to use a natural resource, that it will go to a product that is going to be functional, sorry mate but did not mean to offend.

A world without art would be a gloomy, grey, and boring place to live.

No probs. Did not offend me. I have a similar conversation with someone that I know. They ask the following question, "what is the purpose of this item?"

I understand that not everyone will like a particular art piece.
