    Default Ipad stand

I go to the markets from time to time. A lot of my stuff is priced beyond what people tend to carry around in cash and an eftpos machine is hard to justify with what the banks charge for the rental of the machine. I applied for a Paypal Here device and was granted one as part of the development process. Of course I had to go out and buy an iPad or an iPhone to be able to use it. I chose an iPad mini 'cause I can use it as a marketing tool as well as a point of sale device to allow the acceptance of credit cards.

Then of course I need a stand for the device so as to display the proposed slideshow etc.

    Here is my solution.Ipad stand1_20130221_85.JPGIpad stand1_20130221_70.JPGIpad stand1_20130221_67.JPGIpad stand1_20130221_38.JPGIpad stand1_20130221_55.JPG

The unit takes both the ipad2 as well as the mini. Holds the tablet quite firmly and reclines the tablet at about 15 degrees which seems to me to be an appropriate angle.

This one is in New Guinea Rosewood, basically off cut from the Sleigh Bed I'm making. I liked it so I made another 8 of them. Doing a market on the 2nd of March so we shall see how they go.

    Enjoy
    Cheers
