neither unfortunately - I havent had the opportunity to make anything Japanese influenced yet..... I was given these pics by a guy in Clifton Hill, Melbourne who built it. I agree - very nice work.
Unfortunately, he went out of business, as happens so often in our fine industry. Bloody shame and a real reminder to me that being able to make something is an important, but only one, part of being in any viable business of this type.
I have a contact for original Japanese Antique doors, and bought a huge (thousands) number of round-head rivets in a variety of colours, lengths and guages that will perfectly suit reproduction work when I get to it....... now, have anyone got access to 45hour days?
