    Default Jarrah and Maple Hall table

    Here is a piece that I have been working on for the last couple of weeks. Spotted jarrah top with Qld walnut breadboard ends and Mulga pegs. The frame is Qld Maple with Qld walnut accents. I think the proportions look quite good. What do you reckon?

    I saw this in person when it was almost finished, and I have to tell you that this photo in no way does it justice! It's a magnificent piece of furniture!

    The cup at the front is done with carving gouges. I'm not much of a carver, but I'm learning. I should be able to put a couple of better pics up in the next couple of days.
