But not when it comes to woodwork. That's stunning! I love the hinged panels...
And I agree, even if the whole PC blew up you'd still be able to replace it all and leave the case.
Oh, and Wongo - The only thing a Mac has going for it is design, and they're not a patch on this one
Cheers,

I'm still drooling over this....being a "cut it straight and square" kinda guy I have the utmost respect for anything with curves - how on earth did you shape it like that?
Got any production pics?

Never would have thought of making anything to do with IT out of wood - I try to keep work and play separated - but that is truly a beautiful bit of contemporary design.
How does the old Roll-a-Door ad go ??? "....beauty and warmth of timber with the strength of steel!"

Follow his original link... http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=157732 - there's a 55 page (!) post all about it (I spent a good deal of last night reading it).
All I can say is - w00t!

That is simply AWESOME, well done Oldnewby.
Can anyone suggest a current woodworking competition that he could enter it in, surely he'd be a finalist.

Holy crap! you made the case youself too! I thought you just butchered up a Coolermaster....awesome!
I'd send that into Atomic Magazine - they'd give you something (as in a freeby) for it I'm sure
