    Default Jarrah Sideboard

My name is Chris and I haven't contributed to the forums before but I thought I would show everyone what is still possible with the triton workcentre. All the outside is made from solid jarrah with Jarrah veneer for the panels. The carcass was built from vic ash veneer with jarrah edges. It was all finished with three coats of Rustins danish oil. Had to assemble it in the dining room because it was too heavy to bring inside

All you need to do now is work out how wide your merc is to avoid bumper rash

Nice result Chris. For all its limitations, the Triton is a good piece of machinery to start out on.

True words Neal, but nice tools certainly help

Nice work Chris, as Gumb quoted in his Flanders mind set... Fan-diddly-tastic!

Very nice piece, imagine that a Triton, who would have thought.
As said before we do get a bit over excited about the tools and forget about the work.

    Default Update

This is an Update of my jarrah sideboard. I have put the handles on and built a rustic mirror out of redgum to finish it off.

Lovely crisp piece of work, and looks so good in that setting.

    G'day Chris,

    What a bottler.

The handles suit the crisp lines of the sideboard very nicely. I like it.
I make things, I just take a long time.

Excellent finish Chris. How about showing them your kitchen dresser too.
