Jarrah sideboard/servery (in progress)
So this is all Jarrah, from various bits I had lying around. It's 1.4 long x 900 high and 350 wide. Still needs some finish work and a drawer. Should be finished Tuesday. Finish for the top and shelf is Hard Burnishing Oil (heat, liquid damage resistant and food safe). The rest of the unit is Scandinavian Oil, burnished by wet sanding to 4000g.

Nice work LGS, that's going to come up a treat when completed. What was the thickness of the top as a matter of interest? Thanks for sharing

Thanks, Scott. The top is 40mm! The lower shelf is 32mm. I think the unit will have a presence when finished.

Rob

That's really nice. I love Jarrah.
