A new joint that I'm happy with- What do you think?
Finished this joint a few weeks back. What do you guys reckon?
It wasn't much fun, but I'm gonna try and include one in all the better jobs I do...
IF noone has seen or made this joint before it will from now on be called
"A Fishtail Joint"
or simply a "Danetail"
haha I'm such a d*ckhead. I know this in case you were gonna tell me.

Yeah it was trying. Clever? Well I dunno. It's kinda like a regular dovetail, but impractical. Has a tiny bit more surface area (I think).

Now try a Bermuda Dovetail and we'll know you're not kidding.

It looks like something the Incan's might have done... if they'd been into woodwork in stead of masonry.
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
Regards, Woodwould.

Jeez I just looked them up.
Pretty sure I am kidding now. Never seen anything like it before. Has anyone done these on the forums? Speak out if you have because that's a seriously crazy joint. (and I've seen some crazy joints )
Gonna have to try that sometime soon though..
