Landscaping/Reno- Before-During-After PICS
Outside the back door, new decking:
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Mate that looks great, you've given me a sore back just looking at the photos!
Not sure about the rocks infront of the back deck .. a bit picky I know.
I also like how the interior has changed removing that wall.
Time for a well earned rest!

LOL, yep the walls were the worst.
I Agree with you about the rock but that wall was already there and I didnt fancy doing another new wall .
That view is from the garden bed towards the deck, when you actually stand on the deck you cant see them at all. Who stands in a garden bed anyway? Will plant along the edge there eventually (when my back recovers ) and you wont see the rocks at all
Will post pics of the view from the deck later on.
Currently working on the site for the new shed/workshop so unfortunately the work aint done yet.... I was told I could have my shed when the backyard was done, hence the motivation to do it all. LOL
Thanks for the commentsI want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Good to see you remembered the reo.
Nice job all round - we haven't seen green grass for a long time up here - it does look good. Like the decking but up here if you paint it with a dark colour only expect a very short lifespan - it appears the expansion/contraction cycle is too much for dark coloured decks here and they split and rot very quickly - the so called treated stuff only lasts marginally longer.
Great job
