    Default My Maker's Mark

    G'day again.
My hand made Maker's Mark (a la Don's) have finally arrived from the UK. I'm rapt.
I pinned one to a piece of raw Mountain Tea Tree to see how it looked.

Must go up to the snow line Thursday and tack one to the King Billy letterbox I made for my brother (which hasn't been pinched or vandalised amazingly).

How you gonna attach it to the planes, Sheddy? Epoxy, solder?

    Hope you ordered a few!

    G'day Wen
I paid 72 quid plus postage for 30 of them (plus pins). About AU$160 from memory. Saving them for special things I make.

My dream is to one day build something worthy of affixing a maker's mark to

    Nice one

Looks good Mike. I don't like marking my work with my name. I don't want anybody to know I made it.

Put your youngest childs name on anything you make. By the time he (or she) grows up and inherets the tools from your dead hands it might be worth something. Beauty is in the eye of the maker ... IMHO.

I got a quote and Im still humming and haaring about it . The other option I was looking at was getting an embossing stamp to use on soft wood. fill the indent with black and then seal with lacquer . Look what you've started Don
