WB,
You are more than welcome to come up for a visit. Bring along some of your lovely hand planes and we can try them out on some of our local ironbark and woollybutt
Don't listen to Craig, those Sydney people are so untrusting, aren't they?
The drawers came from the house across the road, which they gutted recently. I'm not too proud to poke around in someone else's rubbish skip  The rest of the cabinet is made from chipboard cupboard doors from the same source."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

I know Eastie and Ozwinner have mentioned dropping up to see you Silent.
Of course I will bring some planes and if all that terrible ironbark and woolybutt is crowding out your shed then I guess we could take some of it off your hands.
Al would have emptied out the concrete mixers from the back of his ute by now so we should be able to clear your block and shed for you.
I am flat chat at the moment so I won't set a date just yet but we can easily make it in a day from Melbourne.
Craig was a great bloke and he is from Sydney with an IT background!
Eastie's 3 kids, Al's two sets of twins and the toddler and my five kids will enjoy staying at your place but probably no longer than a fortnight or so. I think Al is thinking of bringing his three dogs and their pups so I will only bring 2 dogs, not sure if Eastie is bringing his roo pack or not. We don't want to wear out our welcome. Please thank your missus for us - very understanding.

WB,
I'm sorry but the minimum stay at our place is one month and we insist that each visitor brings at least seven pets and perhaps one or two flocks of domestic animals as well.
Al will be pleased to know that I have a concrete mixer, so he wont need to bring any of his, although mine is a handyman version. It will probably be enough for the several jobs I have for him though. Eastie can be in charge of catching the fish and you can sharpen my plane blades for me. There, that's all organised, just let me know when you're coming so I can send the missus out shopping."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

Is there a bench under there?
Now we're talking. Keep 'em coming. 3 pages and only one picture. Come on you lot, let's see your workbenches (no pictures of the four-poster in your bedroom either)..."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

Yeah I think so, it's been a while since I dared check, I do keep the timber and the clamps tidy though...

Silent,
If we are going to stay that long, I will tow the old caravan up for all the kids. It leaks a bit so I will have to park it close to your house. The old wooden frame has borers and termites in it but they should be OK and stay in the caravan - no place like home eh.
Craig didn't meet the kids when he visited, they were reporting to their parole officer, they have this habit of setting fire to houses but they are on the road to reform now. They are looking forward to staying with you. It might pay to stock up on fire extinguishers though just in case they have a relapse.

On the other hand I am unsure how Ben could describe your bench as "less asthetic", it looks very much like some of the furniture I've built in the past, better than some in fact!
BTW, when that rowdy Victorian bunch have gone, my missus has offered to bring me down for a fortnight so she can give your missus a hand with cleaning up after them while you give me sharpening lessons.

That's fine WB, it'll give our local termites a chance to check up on news from the south.
Don't worry about your kids, our house and all the furniture is made from asbestos, so there's no worries about them burning it down. They can light fires wherever they like with no fear of any damage. Heck, I sometimes light one right in the middle of the lounge room floor just for the hell of it. Gives me something to do while the kids are bailing their mother out of gaol."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."
