This months effort
Built some little cupboards for the ensuite basin..... hope you like
Nothing flash, just some veneered mdf I had lying around and a Jarrah trim. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
Cheers,
Peter

Nice one Peter Love the glass top around the basin, with that balanced look of the cupboards.
I assume the cupboards are screwed to the walls?Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Looks like a bought one!
Sorry Peter,
What I really meant was it looks MUCH better than a bought one!!!. I really like your design. The veener on the doors is really quite attractive and the contrasting jarrah trim really finishes it off nicely.
Excellent work

Excellent in every way, not just the woodwork. The elevated cabinets should facilitate keeping the floor clean. And extending the posts to the floor, although they might reduce the former objective, gives a better appearance of stability. Another great idea worthy of stealing. Thanks for posting.

I really like the way the wood has been integrated into the design. Great Job.

Thanks all
Thank-you gentlemen for all your kind words
Neil, yes, it is screwed to the wall, and a liberal smearing of liquid nails for good measure
Joe, the original idea was to have no legs underneath as you suggested to give a kind of "floating" appearance, but mdf is heavy stuff, theres about 15kgs in each of those boxes and about 25kgs in the 12mm glass top. Nothing behind those tiles but plasterboard - I had visions of the whole lot coming crashing down in the middle of the night
Wongo, I've seen some of your stuff - if you like it, I'm stoked
