    Default Nakashima Conoid Chair Repro

    Here is my second attempt at my take of the George Nakashima Conoid Chair.

    Its made from Blackwood and Silver Wattle and the WIP on it is here

    One day i would love to do the 2 seater of his. I love his work, but my next chair is definitely the Macintosh Argyle chair, for mine the coolest chair ever made

    Nice one Lig. I must admit the overall form doesn't do much for me, even though I can admire your workmanship and the timbers- I can even appreciate the design without it doing much for me .....If that makes sense.

    It does make sence. At the end of the day its also not my favourite, but i have always wanted to make one or two. Actualy, ive had a great desire to make a whole setting of "classic icon" chairs to go around a table of my design. Thats why my fav the Argyle chair is my next project (non paying) and i should also make that a WIP

    Thanks Pops. First i need to find some detailed measurements, because if im going to do it propperly, i want it to be as close to the original as possible.
