    Default Narrow Oak Table

I thought people might be interested in a table I have recently completed. Dimensions are 2000 x 650 x39 thick built from FAS American Oak. It's to be used as a sewing table for my beloved in a spare room so needed to be narrow so as not to take up too much space.

I quite like the apron-less look in tables and the joinery challenges these legs set. The leg sections are connected with a number of hefty dominos. Timber cross grain movement is taken care of by slotting the holes in the 6mm aluminium fixing discs where they are screwed to the legs.

Finish is the Maloof tung-BLO- polyurethane mix which I love for its fantastic look and simplicity.

I'm not a table leg man myself, but those are quite nice. But the top is very beautiful - well done.
