Default For those Near Empty Sauce Bottles

Last week I made a couple of Glue Bottle Caddies for the workshop so that the bottle stays in an upright position but Upside down so that the glue is always at the dispensing end.

After making them I remembered what a PITA it is when the sauce bottles are nearly empty and you have to shake the crap out of them to get the sauce up to the neck end...so I made a couple of Sauce Caddies that fit into the pantry shelf and can stand on the table as well.

That's a good idea. I might use it myself but I feel I will not be able to use it inside the house.

Some manufacturers up here have got wise, and now make the bottles so they rest better in the preferred position.

    Example: Kraft Miracle Whip

Still need to shake for complete evacuation.

They are not Fine Furniture but who cares.......just a quick job, made from scraps around the shed and do what they are designed to do.

They don't have to be fine furniture - you had a problem - problem solved - you have now shared it and I thank you as I will be seeing my Titebond III glue bottle sitting in one shortly.

    Thanks again,
    Bob

    Default Glue Caddy

Here are some pics of the Glue Caddies I made before the ones for the sauce.

The Glue Caddies are a bit larger, slightly different design and used heftier timber (19mm as oppsed to the 11mm for the sauce ones).

These ones hang on the wall.

Sorry about the Pic quality...from my phone

Not the best...OK for general use but wouldn't recommend for High strength needs.

Thanks - I had used approx 12 bottles before I had some issues - contacted the company seeking info and asking for info rather than any freebies - as a result of their response I now use Titebond 3.

Thanks, skot. I need one for glue, nothing special, need not be robust.

Actually, 1/2C white wine in a nearly dead sauce bottle makes a good "tip-in" for many things cooking.
