Newbie/ my mailbox planter
I'm a newbie on this site but been woodworking for a long time ! I just found this site and signed up. All the information here is a great and very
help to me. I just can't seem to get enough of this stuff. Alway learning something !
Here is my latest project. I just finished these two mailbox planters.

Great looking job! What type of paint did you use? Have you fixed it down securely, because out here in Oz, there can be problems with people par-taking in a few games of the old 'Letter-Box Baseball', but by the look's of the area you live in, you probably would'nt have that problem. Beautiful looking area, very picturesque

Very nice.
If I put anything in our nature strip the Gestapo ( local council ) would be around quick smart with their camera taking happy snaps so they could fine me.

The nature strip is the bit between the footpath and the road.
Dont you get wombats up your way?
We even get drop bears running down our nature strip here.
