NZ Rimu serving platters
Time for the annual pressies for teachers - I had an awkward langth of 200x45 Rimu that was laying about. Thanks to Mr Jet and Mr DeWalt and a few hours it is now 4 re-sawn boards.

Thanks team - two have gone to the kinder teacher and aide (maybe help to keep her mind off not being paid over the break  ), and the last two to go on Thursday - one to go to Max's prep teacher, who will now be Maggie's prep teacher next year. Hope I have'nt set the bar too high - might have to get into bandsawn boxes.
Funny to spend hours (OK, and a few beers whilst finishing) to create something, wrap it up as soon as it is finished, never to be seen again! I guess that commissioned pieces make you feel like that a bit too. Fun anyway. The only way to get rid of a [Domino] temptation is to yield to it. Oscar Wilde
