Shed cleanup tonight after the culmination of many projects created a complete mess I decided it was high time for a cleanup. After cleaning off the bench top I felt sorry for my old friend and decided after three years it needed a birthday. Sandback with 80 grit on the Festool to get rid of all the glue and burnished with organoil cause I like the smell.................mmmmmmm it's smooooooooth now.

Guess what........................ tiling is still not finished, ahh the joys of being an owner builder.

Wow it has been 2 and a half years. The bench got another birthday. Burnishing oil on the sander this time. Still as solid as ever, just a few more battle scars

The workshop has been emptied out and re arranged yet again recently (well really I am not quite finished). Hopefully this time for the last time as I think I have nailed it and am finally building my 3 bay carport and big garden shed area to move the non workshop stuff to. Looking back through the thread it seems I do more cleaning than making, just to clear this misconception up here are a few pieces I have finished in the past 12 months. I have also laminated up 8 metres of jarrah kitchen bench for the house these pieces were made for.

Few new shed mods following a win or two at a local garage sale and gumtree over the weekend. Made up a G-clamp rail today for behind the drill press and fitted it, my $2.50 Dawn clamps look great on it and are within easy reach. Also cut down a section of jarrah I had laminated up for the kitchen in the above house that did not make the grade for my $20 bench grinder. I am thinking of mounting it to the right of the bench so I have usable space the other end for sharpening. Anyone see a problem with it? It will only ever be used for sharpening and the sander is just currently stored where it is, not used there so there is plenty of room.

I came across 15 4x4x 6m lengths of jarrah from a sheering shed being demolished.. that was 6 years ago and everything is still in storage.
I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds
