Talking Overhauling me cave.. West Aussie style

Okay so young Harry got his overhaulin down in pics so I thought buggar it I will show how its done over this way...

First you drag wrench push shove roll jack and generally abuse the hell outta the 40ft seatainer with the F100 and slowly move it behind the shed to its forever and a day location in the process rip the tail gate towbar fitting fair off the said F100! then get mates lardrover discowery and do the same to it then alls good cause its there... tuff about the two tow bars that came adrift... some fellas should NEVER ever call themselves welders

then you wander in the door nearest the seatainer and see all that CLEAN?? MAN!!! been months since that concretes been seen under all the sawdust timber and other STUFF!

Then you wander around to the other door (this bein the main entry one nearest the house) and would you look at that?? Its bloody tidy AND clean!!

And a bit of a look up at the now considerably smaller loft area... I didnt want to put that forward section (with the hat) back up but she NEEDED somewhere to put her dolls house that needs repairs along with the half dozen drawers I knicked from the house so up it went again

    Hang tuff more to come!!

So... now we see the amount of SPACE Ive freed up by a simple method of toss and chuck out the door!

    1) across the main workarea
    2) The new revised veneer storage area... quick ply box affair made the width of the thickest veneer and 8ft long (had to cut some back to fit ) and stacked neatly and with a nice weight on top of the veneers... alls good!
    3) Down toward the seatainer rollerdoor... masses of room now by gar!!
    4) Looking across the main work area
    5) I moved the table saw toward the door about 2ft in the hope I could create enough room to install the sliding table on it... but wasnt to be... but look at all that room!!

    AND ITS CLEAN!!

hang on a tic I forgot the "proof" I was asked to provide that this is actually my SHED... ala the Dingos cave

Okay proof was asked for on Harrys thread so here we go...

Aside from the "Dingo Rd" sign in some of the above pics (I mean comeon who else would have a Dingo Road" sign in their shed? )

    Here we have...

    1) A collection of various miners hard hats
    2) Above the books and under the scrap veneers are a) miners caplamp and pelican pick
    3) One of the more interesting ways of spending time in the shed... hobby horse rodeo!! YEEEHA!!!
    4) The Dingo in all his glory givin yer the thumbs up!
    5) Restin in the moanin chair that faces the creek with the sun in his face and a breeze waftin in... all I need now is a nice coldie!

Actually didnt change a heck of a lot... got rid of a couple of grey plastic pantry type cupboards that were drivin me knuts carried all the timber outside and restacked it near the door and at the new ubeaut wood storage area (read on gluts on the ground near the caravan) and cut the amount of wood up in the loft down to a bare minimum and well generally cleaned up

sigh... trouble is it looks so damned good in there Im a tad worried to start doin anything!! AND!! Ive found I cant find a bloody thing anymore!! WHos flamin idea was it to start this cleanup the shed thing?? HARRY!!! yer sod!!

** note the miners hats, the pelican pick and the caplamp are to used when I make me ubloodybeaut bar!! Ive got a mate trying to shanghai a self rescuer back on his R&R since I no longer am able to do mine work... so when it arrives it will also go on the bar Forward thinkin mates forward thinkin

Oh and if your wonderin.. Yes Ive lost weight!

Aaaaaahhhh! Too much orange! Hang on . . . where's me sunnies?

OK that's better. Jeez, that is a lot of orange. Must be keeping the Sherwood company afloat. Envious of all those machines.

What was that shipping container for, again?

Nice shed, lots of equipment, and lots of space. Now your productivity will go up 100%. Does SWMBO realise?

aaah the seatainer at present her bloody highness and her carbon copy the legendary young Tiffany the flea have their gear stored in there BUT SOON!! Soon its going to be EMPTY and then (insert darstarly evil music here) ITS MINE!! (<< thats meant to have an evil smilie there but all wes gots is mad ones )

Ahem.. now what will happen with said seatainer is a door will be made through the side and a coresponding door will be made directly opposite in the shed a nice wee path bewixt the two some plants and such maybe even a pergala over the whole shamozle... then one end the end with the doors the opposite end to that which I show will have a whirly bird thing inserted and that last 10ft will be for... the dusty and the compressor... the next 15ft will be sectioned of for a finishing room (this being the 15ft with the entrance door) with shelves along the walls and hangers from the roof... the next 5ft will have a vent and possibly an airocn along with the walls having insulation this will be the paint storage room... this then leads us to the final 10ft x 8ft x 9ft of the storage container

This will have a door cut into the end and a flyscreen door a nice roller door added so that one can rill the door open an sit there in the evening... ooh right whats it gonna be for!! A barroom of course!! I mean what self respectin sheddie has this much room an doesnt make a barroom? Im plannin the bar and am on the hunt for some STUFF to go in there as we speak

Ive told her that Im getting another 40fter and a 20 if she doesnt pull her head in and get their gear out of MY SEATAINER ... strange things sheilas eh?... you know she just grins and says "well buster you replace this house and I will get all my gear out!" yeah gotta get around to that ... damned logical creatures eh

And the orange? yeah so I made a booboo ... learnt me lesson though so its all good

OOHH!! Did I mention?? Its a SHED ACCREDITED SHED!!! gotta make a board up to put those stickers up on... hey did you know that hes shrunk the size of the stickers nowadays? bloody tiny ... yeah I know yer readin mate... so look a blokes gotta have signs he can READ none of this tiny stuff a nice whopper sign is good Musta been right busy when they were sent eh? its cool mate

    G'day Dingo,

Fair go mate, all that Sherwood stuff in your shed and you wearing the orange overalls, the Missus will be hard pressed to find you in there. Or is that the idea?

And the sicker, beaut to see another bloke has got his shed accredited with a Good Shed sticker.

Dingo, I think these "how clean is my shed" threads should be banned.

What happens if the missus walks past the computer and see's disturbing images like that.

Jeez mate what are you trying to do?

Just like a Sherwood showroom. I particularly like the painting of the Chinese junk.

Speaking of snakes, we soak them in rice wine to make snake wine. Just an idea.

Snake wine??????? mate yer one seriously sick puppy!!

The oberalls are the result of workin for an orange oberall fetish mining company... see some mining companies have a blue fetish which I dont mind but the only prob is those blue ones are the heavy oberall material... whereas the orange ones this mob were "into" was the lightweight stuff... real comfy to wear too! and as has been said when combined with the orange machinery in there I sorta get lost and she turns away without annoyin me!!

Harry mate Im workin on the pvc... Im workin on it!! gonna have to do somethin about it right soon... the bloody springy ones drivin me knuts!! an bein on the floor is a right pain in the gronicals!

The pic of the chinese junks is one of the few things I inherited from my mum when she passed on and the missus hates it and wont allow it to come in the house... damned if I know why but there you go these sheilas get fixes on somethin and thats that no changin them

But then again I am gainin a right good collection of originals of boats and seascapes by my sister and she allows them to live in the house happily
