    Default Pantograph for a Dremel

My first a tempted building a pantograph for a dremel. It took a bit to work out how to build one. This is what I came up with. I haven't had a chance to use it yet and I am hoping it will do what it is suppose to do without to much adjustment.

Nice work. Would you consider posting the plans?

Heres the link to the plans I downloaded a couple of years ago

Mathias's router pantograph pland come with a mount for a trim router and a Dremel.

Here's the link to my thread where I have been slowly working on this project.

This might save people some time. He doesn't charge much for the plans and you will save the cost of the plans in the materials you don't have to experiment with.

    Cheers

    Hi doug3030,

Couple weeks after I built my Dremel Pantograph I came across Mathias's web site woodgears. I saw the Dremel Pantograph that he made and the plans for his router pantograph he has pretty good prices. There is a few plans I will be getting off him. He is a very smart woodwork how he comes up with things for his woodwork shop. He cost all my internet usage by watching all his woodwork on youtube so now I have to wait until end of the month when I'm back up to speed. I enjoy watching his work.

    Cheers Graham.

hi Graham, yes he sure comes up with some good ideas. I usually have his site open in a browser tab. I like the way his ideas seem so brilliant and yet so forehead-slappingly self evident once you see them and wonder why you ever thought of doing it a different way.

    Cheers

Default My Plans for Dremel Pantograph

    Hi To all,

Here are the plans to my pantograph it took me about a week to do. I hope the plans are ok and you can understand them and I haven't left anything out. I'm sorry about the drawings not being real straight or that good but trying to draw with the computer mouse it was a bit hard.

Thanks a lot Graham, in this day where everybody seems to think that everything they do should be remunerated your generosity is very appreciated.

    Happy New Year,
    Rob
