Nice work Phil. The tables have come up real nice. Just as well you have a photo of the table and chairs. It is most probably the only time you will see them in that condition.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

    Bloody good work!
When you say "first project" you dont actually mean the first you have made do you?

    Yes sir I do.......

Bought a triton workcentre at 2003 brisbane woodworking show. I used it a lot around the house making decks, fences etc and then got bored and tried some furniture. So yes my very first piece. Although I do recall making some sort of coat hanger rack thing and wooden spoon in grade 8 shop about 20 years ago (ShoCk, 20 years!)......

    Sorry no plan....

Just made the overall design up in my head.......... Joint types from woodworking book. They were meant to be slightly deeper but had problems jointing the boards with plane.

I can give you the dimensions if you like.

    Nice work.

I'd like dimensions for the side tables if you've got them.

    Nice work

I get my year 10 students to make the same sort of side table. There work is not as good as your work though and they use pine.
