    Default Plum bowl

Hi all, got back on the tools again this week, another plum bowl, turned dampish so will be interesting to see how it comes out. Wondering if sealing the surfaces will slow the drying out down.

Nice colours in that wood. It will likely lighten up some on drying.
The drying part is always a bit of wait and see. I have only done a couple of live edge bowls and never in plum. I left them a bit thick and kept the foot recess so I could refinish them when dry.
    Regards
    John

Most of the other ones I've turned green have had an even edge around the lip, I could get the walls a bit thinner, not the best idea on something like these.
