Poo Truck from Binalong
This is a project I started in December 1999 to May 2000 and then restarted December 2005. There is still several months work until completion.

Poo Truck from Binalong
Ah, memories. My lifelong career as a truckie began in one of those "Capitol Chevs" from the mid 1920's era. Before you learned to drive it, you learned to crank it using the advance and retard levers.
After I learned to drive in it, I waited a few more years, then at 16, I got my drivers licence. In about 1961 my older brother sold it for ten quid $20.00, plus a shed full of every part imaginable for them, especially the carby needles.
The old girl could achieve sixty miles an hour on the speedo, and we hoped the spokes stayed put when it did.
Great stuff, get the old girl going for us all to see.Buzza.

That is a fair amount of work you have already done, which looks great, look forward to more photos. Good to see these classics getting a new life.

Nice Job Don, Just remember they are never finished.... Ever. Dad and I have had "The mistress" on the road since 1980 and she still has stuff that needs doing.
You may like the photos at the webiste in my sig..I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

She looks fantastic Don.
My brother in law (he's a mechanic) had a hand in restoring an A Model Ford. Its great to see old machines like these in pristine and working condition instead of rusting in a paddock somewhere.
