Default Pool Cue Case (2 cues)

    Hi all,
An interesting commission this one. One of those interesting in between other job jobs, with licence to do what you want. A pool cue case to accommodate 2 cues and chalk, replacing 2 single cases not made from timber.

Various timbers lying around were used..that's why it's hard to throw small bits away.

Anyway, the frame is cooktown ash, main panels are silky oak with satin ash diamond inlayed with inlay kit (just love inlaying). Ends are white cedar and satin ash with red cedar splines. The handle is cooktown ash and cedar.
The timber in lid is my new plaque which has my details laser cut.

Case was designed with foam thickness in mind so cues didn't rattle, bearing in mind it will get moved around a lot, hence corner protectors on base.

    Recipient very happy.

Take a gander and don't throw little bits away.

    cheers
    conwood

I do like that case! I reckon another one with the colours/timbers reversed would look just as impressive too!
