Another project almost finished
Here is my latest project, a shoe cabinet for a customer. It will be finshed in white primer ready for the customer to paint himself.

How long does it take to put one of those together? Is it MDF? And as you're on the other side of the world maybe you won't mind me asking how much you charge for one finished to primer?

Hi HH, Yes it is mainly made from MDF. The drawer boxes are made from Pine though and the runners are oak. It has taken me five days to get it ready for the finish and I am charging £100 for it in primer. I would charge quite a bit more for it completely finished of course. HTH.

Here it is finished in primer. Customer was very happy with it and looks like more work to come.

£100 is nothing really. The MDF and handles would have costed you probably no less than £50 - £60. You are probably doing it for the love of woodwork.
If it was made of good quality Australian wood with dovetailed drawers. I would charge it for no less then AUS $1,500.Visit my website at www.myFineWoodWork.com

Hi Mailee
I like the cupboard, nice clean lines. Also the trick of letting the customer finish themself is a great labour saver for you.
Cheers
