    Default some projects

Here are some photos of a couple of my projects at my current home. The three decks I designed and built to make better use of a horrible patch of dirt. Now SWMBO can drop clothes pegging out, without rewashing them Was her 40th b'day present.
Other photos are of our completed ensuite after a complete gutting. The cabinets are of Jarrah and are built in. I bought rough-sawn timber and a friend with a nice woodworkshop dressed it for me. Mitred joints and glass shelves, danish oil finish and about the same cost as a crappy white mirrored medicine cabinet Also used the jarrah to make the shelves in the niches. The only things I didn't do on that bathroom was the electrical, waterproofing and the plumbing rough-in. Now I just have to do the mouldings around the cabinets (I have to route steps to accomodate the tile thickness on one side  )

    Cheers

    Thumbs up

    Hi Michael,

Wow!! Those Jarrah cabinets look a million $$. Top job there, love the glass too. Great bathroom renovation overall as well. Want to do mine, with a few cabinets as well ??? .

I bet SWMBO was happy as Larry with those decks, great perspective and layout. Hell, just bring youself and your tools over to Perth, I will provide the beer. Well done.

    Cheers

The great thing about doing a reno is you get to look at it every day, they are very rewarding projects

Brownie points? I usually run in deficit. And why is it the exchange rate always seems so poor? I mean, your blood sweat and tears buys a few points but their displeasure costs a fortune

Thanks for the kind comments fellas

    Great looking decks mate,

Do you have any other info or drawings of them (I know I wouldn't so I don't blame you if you don't)

What timber did you use for the decking ? and what did you do about the
little white ants to make sure they don't ruin your wife's hanging out area?

    Thanks mate
