Default Red Cedar Hall Table - WIP

    Hey,

It's been a while since I have made anything. I have been flat out moving houses and iv'e finally settled into my new house.

I'm planning a bench build at the moment, and while i'm waiting for my timber to arrive I thought i'd made something to get me back into it. I had the below piece of Cedar for a litle while now and I thought i'd use it as a top for a hall table. I went to Greg Ward's today and picked up some cedar for the legs and rails.

It's going to be a basic table, no drawers or bottom shelf like the last one I made - https://www.woodworkforums.com/f40/wi...-table-126449/

    I hope you enjoy,

    Andy

PS- the garage is still being organised, i'm getting more shelves to stow everthing away

I love that piece you've got for the top. Looking forward to seeing this come to life.

    Cheers,

I did a little bit today - I squared up the top and cut it to size. I also ripped up four legs, two small side aprons and two long front aprons.
It was a prety frustrating day in the garage, i'm really not happy with the setup of the new garage so i'll make some changes tomorrow.

I just got to taper the legs, joint the front aprons and a few other things and it should be done.

    Default legs

They came up OK Andy. Sometimes, red cedar that is a little straight and not 'wild' works really well.
    Looks good.
