Red Cedar Tea Box
G'Day Folk's and Folkess's
Hopefully have attached a couple pics of the first project i have completed which might ( or might Not) be worthy of inclusion in the forum
commision from SIL to make her a wee box to hold tea bags, Made from red cedar off cuts i scored for free, the top is inlayed with free veneers i scored by visiting a shop ion Hornsby (sydney) after reading a post here, Thank you whoever that was.
on the top are red cedar frame, Macassar border, curly maple insert and tea leaf with 3 others i have no idea what they are, just liked the colours.

If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Looks sweet, what did the inlay cost?
There was a young boy called Wyatt
Who was awfully quiet
And then one day
He faded away
Because he overused White
Floorsanding in Canberra and Albury.....

Thank you
G' day folks and folkess's
thanks very much for your comments, much appreciated, considering the standard that you folks post, im well pleased, thank you again.
Alexs yes thats the palce and i think it might have been you that posted the name in the post i got it from, thank you again, girl could'nt have been more helpfull, scored a HUGE box of off cuts with all sorts in it.
Gumby nope not triton mate was a home made from a jig featured in AW No 10, was good till play in the blade in the triton started to wobble, then cuts ended up \_/ this sorta shape , stripped it down and greased the bush in the back of the Jack?? something or other and seems to have worked for now.
Again thanks for your appreciation
Nessie
