Thread: Red Gum Amp stand and knick knack display thingy

Seems everybody wants Red Gum these days.
This unit is to house an stereo amplifier on the bottom shelf, some CD's on the second shelf and knick knacks on the top.
It is 700mm long x 400mm high x 445mm deep.
The finish is Scandinavian Oil under Minwax Wipe On Poly Satin (3 coats). I tried to convince them wax was better, but they wanted ultra low maintenance!..Philistines
I used Festool 1500, 2000 and 4000 grit pads to sand between coats. Works a treat!
