Default Resin and Burl side table

I've been assisting my sister (she bought the wood and poured the resin ) make a couple of side tables for her grand kids. This started life as a coffee table ( blue resin ) until she decided she couldn't actually use another one. So sliced in half and made into 2 side tables, The other one is topped with a blue/pink mix and isn't quite finished.

P.S. The photo looks fine on my phone but crap on the laptop, so if it looks pale it's actually a metallic gold on top.

Thanks MO, there's definitely been a few failures and a lot of learning done. Should hopefully finish the 2nd one this weekend if I can work it in around the Maleny show.
