    Default My rocking chair

This rocker is featured in my article in the current Australian Wood Review. I had a lot of fun designing it on AutoSketch, and then building it.

My version of the Dundas Rocker is almost done, so I thought I'd bring this post the the top again. This way everyone can see the beautiful original before my unworthy replica. You do great work David!

    Junkboy,

I am not selling my chair, but I do sell the full-scale plans for it, together with detailed instuctions on how to build it, on a CD - see my website http://www.dldundas.com . I hope they will be some competition for Hal Taylor, who sells plans for his rocker, which has a Maloof-style solid wood seat, for US$275 - about ten times what I am charging for my CD.

    Rocker,

That is a truly beautiful thing! A inspiration for us to keep chipping away, maybe one day...

Great work rocker - would love to get the plans.

You be a Midges on Sunday?
