    Default First doors

These are a couple doors I made for my parents place (beading yet to go on).

    Hey Codi, Good job mate.
What sort of timber have you used?
What sort of joints have you made?

It's a very good fit, my concern is it may be a little too good. Fine now, in summer, but they may not close in winter.

Anyway, that may just be my perception from the photos. Looks really good.

    Thanks steve

It is just finger jointed pine (the pre-painted stuff). 90x45mm

The bathroom one (with blue) sticks at the top but I haven't trimmed it cause we don't have the handles so it works like that (keeps the dogs out whilst waterproofing). There is a fair bit of space around the other sides, don't think I will have a problem but, if I need to I can take them down and plane them a bit (I will probably have to do that anyway after mum gets to them with a trowel and paint).

I did mortice and tenon joints with a router and straight guide. They are about 50mm deep (plenty)
