Made from unusual shaped branches I have collected and a couple of bits of Black Wattle firewood for the seat.

    Default Glue?

Now that looks great but how do you hold it together? I have enough trouble with straight up mortice and tennons taking the strain of some oaf plonking themsielves down like a sack of coal.

That is so good, it has great character and looks like you have the perfect porch for it. Tealady, you could put your tea cup on the little side table next to my stubby

    Hi Beeshed

I just used screws for the frame (heavy duty ones for major joints) and dowel for the seat slats. Feels like cheating in a way, I am going to try just mortice and tenon joints for the next one.
