    Brilliant design soon as I looked at it I thought Gothic church roof structure.
    An inspired resolved design and you gotta just love anybody who uses inlaid dovetail keys! LMAO!!!

    Thanks so much Bruce! I started designing the table with the idea of the G. Nakashima Conoid Dining table in mind:

    I then included some elements from my love of timber frame architecture (all considered from the functional viewpoint of strength and leg room). I then considered wood movement, allowed for that, designed the joinery for strength, and just went for it!

    hope that's what you were asking . I don't know what semacs is :confused:
