    Default Scoops

I came up these the other day to put in a shop that is selling my stuff. They are a big hit.
Made from some blackwood that came from Mappleman finished with ubeaut food safe oil.

I like the idea. I am thinking that you turned these on the lathe and put them together from the parts.

No, never saw a lathe. They were cut out on the bandsaw, the small one from the inside of the large one. They are all hand sanded, that is until I can afford a bobbin sander. The handles are cut by bandsaw as well. After the inside is sanded, they are glued together with superglue and the outside is then sanded. It's a lot of work, but worth it, it seems.

The only drama was I cut the end back to front on the middle one.
