    Default Scrapbook Organiser

    Hi all

    This isnt fine woodworking but if like me your partner is into scrapbooking you are probably used to the statement;

"why cant you make something for me to store my stuff in"

This is my answer. The wire shelves are from bunnings and come in a pack of 5 that form a cube for $8. I used them as shelves instead.

The rest is 16mm melamine and I drilled holes to fit the shelf pins using a jig.

If anyone wants any dimensions I will elaborate.

Good easy and functional project that took about 8 hours.

    cheers

Heaps cool! Do the wire shelves slide out, or what do they sit on?
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Great idea! I may have several uses for that shelf idea.
If we learn by our mistakes, I have had a wonderful education!

    Hi Dazzler,

Know the feeling well. That looks a really great unit. The only trouble is this requires another room that is lockable from the little one  I actually ended up buying a treasure chest from Horn in Adelaide. It is mobile and most importantly - lockable.

    Nice one Dazzler!

Especially if it keeps you-know-who happy - and in the mood to provide fiscal authority for MORE TOOLS!

    Hi

they sit on those little brass shelf holder thingies that you use in kitchen cupboards and bookshelves. 5mm hole for the pins. They also come in poverty plastic

    BE WARNED

This is only the beginning! Wait another couple of years and this will seam like a small collection - scrap booking/card making is like a virus in the house, it grows and grows and there is no known cure
