    Default Sewing machine cabinet

    Hi everyone

To match the buffet that we made a few months back with this pressed tin, we made a sewing cabinet this weekend. It is made using the wider flooring that came from Studley/E.maculata (thanks guys!). It's got one shelf which is made from ply.

Same old style as usual - mortice and tenon joinery, tapered legs and finished with orange oil and Organoil wax. It just takes us half the time now we have the Domino instead of doing M and Ts old style!

Now, time for a shower, I am absolutely covered in dust and have black fingers from the purbond and black epoxy resin (gloves had a hole...). Now to explain that at work on Monday!

    Cheers
    Dan and Tom

Very nice stuff guys, well done.

Can you give some more detail as to the timber for the top, i.e. which spieces etc? It look gorgeous

I'll be perfectly honest, the door is not my cup of tea, but the cabinet as a whole is fantastic.

Keep up the great work, I love it

    Cheers.

I love it, Danielle & Tom! And it matches the buffet perfectly, alright!

Hmmm, the Domino sounds pretty neat!

    Cheers,
