    My first project post !!!

Sewing table for the missus, Tas Oak & Meesmate legs, wanted Jarrah legs
    but the budget didn't allow.
I regret not making a drawer, too late now.

    Finish is hard burnishing Organoil.

    Cheers

    Very nice Nic,

Just a question - what do the leaves rest on when they're folded out? Can't quite see in the pics. And can someone tell me what messmate is? Haven't heard or seen it over here in the wild country.

    Cheers, Craig.

The hinges are actually self supporting, mind you I wouldn't put any real stress on them though. In this case they only have to support the weight of the wood and some fabric !!
The tricky bit was to get them just right, so when they open the top and panel are tight, end against end and holds the top pefectly flat.

Keep crawling boyo ! You've got a long way to go yet

Nice work by the way. I'm closing before my other half sees it. Bye.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Nice first post, Nic - look forward to seeing some more. That one is sure worth browny points to let you buy some more tools - which is the whole point of doing woodwork, isn't it?

If you produce quality like that first go, you leave no room to say
"I could build it if you let me buy...."
    Think boy!
