Nice work scott. I'd be happy to have that in my house. Happier to have it in my shed of course!

    Cheers

Not yet, I have a sheet of MDF as a sacrificial top and use a plastic sheet to protect the MDF.

Yes I've read it from somewhere too. But then I thought why would you want to remove them anyway? I mean they are there to hold chisels right? Mine can hold up to 24 chisels and I just don’t know what more I can do with them.

A suggestion for your planes. Instead of having them sit blade down, which is not a good idea unless you retract the blade, sit them on their side or cut a piece of thin wood the same size as the plane botton and cut a small slit where the blade project so you can sit them on their base and not hurt the blade.

Just picked up on your post Wongo and am very impressed with your bench and cabinet. Excellent work and very practical also. Wonder how many planes it will take to fill it?

Ok junkboy, let’s work it out. If I had another chisel, how is having a flexible divider going to solve the problem? There is simply no room for one more. So it is no good to remove the divider anyway.
