Major,
It seems like it has been a year or more since we were arguing over the joinery of the seat rails to the front rail in your design. I was beginning to think you might have given up woodwork in favour of collecting planes
How did you end up joining the seat rails to the front rail, by the way?
Those chairs will certainly look impressive when you have finished the set.

Very nice work! I love the Silver Ash. What region is that from? I've never heard of it before.
I've also never attempted any type of chair before. They seem very intimidating, especially when you are making a set of 8! I'm impressed! Any suggested resources for designing chairs? Eventually, I'll need to do the same.
