Default Some of the old & Some of the new

These two pictures are of a stand I made for a large flat screen TV.

I wanted something a little different, so I use the base of an old Singer sewing machine and built a top and a section for the TV box and DVD player.

Interesting to say the least. It does detract from the TV.

    Cool, I really like it.
The fact remains, that 97% of all statistics are made up, yet 87% of the population think they are real.

Many people, including me have put a new table top onto a Singer base, but that's the first time I've seen the space in the middle used for a practical purpose.
    Inspired!
    Well done.
    Looks great.

Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections....

    Thumbs up

    Very niphphty!!

I wonder how many old Singers have been put to use as a table base?

I did one 20 odd years ago. Everyone comments on it.
