    Default Table (or tables)

My wife regularly has about 10 to 12 people over for lunches, and wanted a table that could accommodate that number. I didnt want a table that's so big it would dominate the dining room, and I didnt want a clunky extension table, so we compromised. Pushed together, these two tables make one big one about 2200mm long, which seats 8 comfortably. Spread apart slightly, they allow a couple of extra people to be seated. Spread even further apart, they allow a lot more people to kick back after a meal and still feel they are sitting around a table not perched with their wineglass in the middle of the room.

They are made from Wenge veneer. A tiny bit of solid wenge was used for edging etc.

    cheers
    Arron

    Neat solution to your problem

A very well made set-up, I might add.
