Tall Boy
Finished this the other day. A 6 drawer tall boy for my seven year old. He can't actually see into the top drawer yet, but give him a few years and he will be right. It had to go in to wardrobe becuase there isn't space for all his thunderbird stuff in his room.
One of these days I will venture into some types of timber, but i will need to get rid of all the pine that I bought at an auction. My wife says she wants an apothacry like this one...

Thanks Johnmc,
About the finish, In the beginning I was tossing up what to use, i wanted to use shellac, but i also wanted it to match up with a bed that I had previously made. So i went with the previous finish.
1. 1 coat of feast watson fungishield (so that the stain goes in evenly)
2. 2 coats of feast watson old baltic stain
3. 3 coats of Minwax wipe on poly.
This was the first time i had used wipe on poly, and i must say that its great. Easy to put on, no brush marks ( i don't have a spray gun), and a really nice finish.
