Tall dog bowl stand
My youngest daughter has been rescuing greyhounds in Melbourne for a few years now, and training them for adoption. Simple thinks like walking up and down steps. Now she has adopted one herself, and she asked for three tall dog dish stands. For a greyhound, the height of the bowl is about mid chest height, or 450mm. you can see the pics of our beagle cross and the greyhound for size comparison
The stands were flat packed for shipping to Melbourne, and press fitted together by my daughter without any trouble. The angle of the legs is quite stable, and has not been knocked over by the greyhound.
The timber is recycled pallet timber, about 20mm thick, which ruined the blades on my thicknesser - too many knots Never again
She requested a bright colour, hence the yellow.
For your additional information, greyhounds are so friendly and so laid back, lying around all day, very low maintenance dogs who like human companionship.

Doubt that the knots would’ve ruined your blades, more than likely it was dirt and grit ingrained in the wood. If you think about it, pallets travel everywhere and see lots of different ground types and every truck deck I’ve seen has some dirt on it as well, the decks on my two trucks get the blower or the pressure washer on them regularly
Cheers

Youngest son in Brisbane has just taken delivery of a greyhound too, and has requested two tall dog dish stands like above. Have just finished them and they are now ready for painting and posting

2nd batch of stands arrived
Well, the second batch of stands arrived in Brisbane for my youngest son's newly adopted greyhound, Merlin. He is 3 1/2 yrs old.
Turns out he is much bigger than your normal greyhound, so possibly the 450mm high stands should have been another 50mm higher, going from the pics.
the stands are designed around a particular bowl purchased from Pet Barn
Stands gratefully received as a flat pack, slotted together perfectly.
Merlin, in the words of his owner, is a big friendly boofhead, like many greyhounds
