Hi CK,

Without wishing to dampen you enthusiasm, I suggest you select a market that is visited by young couples and single high earning females. (I actually there are some in existence).
Once you have selected your market, try setting a price you think is fair, whatever value, doesn't really matter and wait a half hour or so. If nothing happens, lower the price a bit (say 50c or $1) give that half an hour, then repeat the process. Eventually you find a price at which they will sell. That is your market price and it bears absolutely resemblance to the time, timber and workmanship you put into it. That is the price you sell at. I won't sell at markets for that reason. Boxes that people commission from me have prices around $4-500. At a market, I'd be looking at $100.00!!

With a population of ~13,000 I'm guessing that there is only one market in Emerald? Maybe $14.50, $17.50, $19.50 for 2/3/4 hole, and carry lots of 50c pieces? No point in selling your soul just so you can say you've sold a few. Good luck!

But there's always a but I would not sell them like that. Without an insulator between the candle and holder to stop heat transfer.
Yes I know it's only a tea light candle.
But then I think you should be able to get $15/20 au

The small metal pouch that the tea light sits in is a sufficient heat barrier, so that is not a problem. A while back there was a posting in the turning section that dealt with this.
