    Default Termite's Ticker.

Well it doesn't realy tick, it just sits there and sulks.
Made from American Walnut and finished with about 6 gazillion coats of White shellac rubbed back with 0000 steel wool and EEE, then polished with UBeaut Walnut wax.

Looks great Termite. I love the grain of the walnut and the finish is superb.

    Looks good Termite.

Don't you love the polished wood/brass contrast? I always use exposed brass fastenings on everything, even if not required for fixing.

    VERY nice!

    Termite's Ticker.
Good to see that someone has the ticker to achieve something.

Got the Walnut at Toronto, Peter has a reasonable stock there. Aussie walnut is beautiful stuff but is in short supply, it's a bit more colourfull than the American stuff.

Yes mate, drill a big hole and slip it in, I usually use some hot melt wax on the clips to hold it in.
