Offended??
Sorry guys, I feel for NGX. I wasn't offended at all. I didn't feel as though he was trying to sell anything. Simply telling us what he does apart from his woodturning. I'm a musician but I'm not trying to sell my CD's.
Let's smell the roses and smile. If you never made a mistake, you never made anything!

Hello My Name is Noel and I live in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region><st1lace>Australia</st1lace></st1:country-region>, <st1ity><st1lace>Wollongong</st1lace></st1ity><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
I would like some feed back on some of my work I am only self taught over many years and not all at once as I travel a lot.<o></o>
<o></o>
My tools I made these with are Lathe Tekna Tool swivel head, some home made jigs for the lathe and other small jobs.... I have all so done time in the art of French polishing as I think its a good way to preserve timber.<o></o>
<o></o>
First off here is my old set up Tekna Tool lathe me working at a bowl<o></o>
Next is close up of my free turn bowl from a heavy gum burl, 3rd one is a side view of the bowl, Next is my Dove tail box its made of - WA Jarra,NSW Gum,Walnut - I did most by hand and I cut the Pins by hand( As you can see..lol ) and the tails by router this was just a test to see how strong I could make dove tails and well many years on its still as rock solid as it was the day I did it – There we go we will see what you guys and girls think.. Good day NGX
I am very sorry for what I said to you yesterday and apologize for being rude to you.
What made me to think so was your URL with the pictures that you are selling and I did not see there any picture of woodworking.
Please accept my apology, and welcome to the forum.
Your work is very beautiful and I look foreword to see more pictures of your beautiful works.
Regards
niki

OK, I've goofed
Sorry Noel, I obviously got this one wrong and maybe I'll be a little more careful before firing off the red gun.
Perhaps I'm a bit sensitive on it since the episode with my mate Ovenboy a short while ago. No need to explain it but others will know where I'm coming from.
The last thing I want to do is to discourage a new member from staying aboard. I'm just one of the many on here so please don't take it personally.
I'll fire off a greeny to reverse the red one for you.
Again my apologies to you.
(slinks off into the sunset, never to been seen again.....)
yeah right. If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

I love the shape of your Box.
I made a box a few years ago for a friend that had the same shape and top, but out of pine,JunkBoy999
